GOOD.IS…a great way to start…

As I begin to count UP the next 30 days with you and share my favorite 30 ways to greater green, I thought this post would be a really GOOD place to start.  Have you ever asked yourself what GOOD is to you? How about what a GOOD business is? Well, fellow Atlantans, here’s your chance to hang out with some really GOOD folks who have started, shaped or support small businesses that are or will be GOOD leaders in our community.

On April 17-19GOOD {the social network for social good} is bringing the Small Business Collaborative to Atlanta for the first time to celebrate extraordinary small business leaders who are supporting the local community in creative, sustainable and groundbreaking ways. Over the course of these 3 days, we are creating an open marketplace for select small businesses, while also hosting 2 daily workshops for the local small business community.

The SBC is taking place at White Provision, in their 4th Floor Event Space, overlooking the Atlanta skyline and surrounded by great local spots like Garden, Star Provisions, Sid & Ann Mashburn’s shops, Yeah! Burger, Room & Board and more. The event will highlight inspiring Atlanta businesses [look for my post later this week with a sneak peek of our participants] who will join panelists such as Ted’s Montana Grill Co-Founder + CEO George McKerrow, Fashionable Philanthropist Robbie Hart of C4Belts, SmartGlass designer Kathleen Plate and more for three days of conversation and collaboration.

Free to attend and open to the public.
If you have a really GOOD business you want to share or have any questions about the Small Business Collaborative, please email: or call 404.627.4630.
